The iOS Accessibility team is looking for a motivated and dedicated triage and screening analyst to join our team and help ensure the high quality of Apple’s accessibility features.
Strong analytical skills
Experience with command line tools
Ability to solve problems using scripting languages such as: Objective-C, or Swift
Familiarity with consumer-facing software development processes
Expertise with bug tracking systems
As a triage and screening analyst on the iOS Accessibility team, you will triage incoming bugs, analyze logs, and work with the team to determine priority of issues. You will help identify emerging issues from bugs reported by Apple employees, customers and external developers, and when needed, follow up with bug filers to collect additional information that can help the team debug, test features and fixes. You will help find issues impacting customers and drive resolution of those issues. Utilizing automation and other tools, you will have an enormous impact on the quality of Apple’s accessibility features, from VoiceOver to Switch Control to Hearing Aids. We are looking for an enthusiastic, curious, and technically savvy teammate who can juggle a variety of tasks efficiently. Education & Experience
Coursework in Computer Science/Engineering is desirable, but a specific degree or concentration is not required.
