This position is primarily based in a location within PNC’s footprint. Preferred locations are listed in this requisition. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities can be performed remotely. Additional locations may be considered.

PNC is searching for a Mobile Accessibility Coach who will provide accessibility testing, coaching, and consulting to Native Mobile Agile teams. The person in this position will work directly with Agile teams to deliver high-value, accessible digital experiences, products & services to our customers. They will help teams find and fix accessibility issues and help them to identify opportunities to prevent them earlier in the process. A strong candidate for this role will be passionate about serving customers with disabilities, deeply familiar with WCAG, and comfortable working within a cross-functional team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
• Work with development teams and help them implement new native applications (iOS, Android) that are accessible or fix accessibility problems in existing applications
• Help integrate accessibility testing into the development process
• Partner with cross-functional teams such as Developers, Designers, Quality Assurance, Content Contributors and Product Owners to execute accessibility requirements
• Perform WCAG assessments on digital assets
• Identify and clearly document accessibility issues
• Identify and clearly document recommendations for accessibility remediation
• Stay up to date on technology and experience patterns to continuously communicate changes and updates to our approach to accessibility

For this role, the following background and experience is recommended:

• At least 5 years of current experience developing iOS and Android native applications, with at least 7 years of total experience in software development preferred
• Accessibility testing experience with the following screen readers:
• TalkBack (Android)
• VoiceOver (iOS)
• Experience in professional Digital Accessibility testing
• Experience in evaluating native mobile applications for at least WCAG 2.0 A/AA conformance
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills
Preferred Skills/Certifications
• IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC)
• IAAP Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS)
• IAAP Accessible Document Specialist (ADS)

Job Description

Executes digital strategy across business segments to optimize digital experience, leveraging design thinking and other best practices.
Monitors the marketplace to assess digital experience trends and results in order to recommend new digital experiences or enhancements to existing experiences. Prioritizes and decisions recommendations. Supports business case development.
Develops and designs the features of new or existing digital experiences to take advantage of an identified market need or opportunity. Manages the development, production, roll-out or promotion of digital experiences.
Partners with key stakeholders including Product, Technology, MIS, Line of Business, Marketing and other internal service partners as well as external stakeholders to ensure all digital experiences meet their strategic goals. Participates in product-specific marketing initiatives. May participate in client facing activities. As part of the first line of defense, supports risk management, compliance, and audit needs.
Supports business, financial, and customer experience results of digital experiences and effectively recommends modifications in experiences and/or marketing to improve results.

Work Experience
