Job Description
CCI has a Client who is seeking a Candidate in meeting Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 AA standards for content accessibility on Client’s website. Document Remediation Services: The Candidate will assess, remediate and conduct a post-remediation assessment of Portable Document Format (pdf) documents only that are available through Client’s website. This service includes:

Remediating Adobe InDesign Documents to allow pdf exports that meet WCAG 2.0 AA standards;

Remediating existing PDF documents to meet WCAG 2.0 AA standards;

Remediating Microsoft Word documents to meet WCAG 2.0 AA standards;

Provide to Client a pre-assessment and post-assessment report for each remediated document; and

Assuming remediation of a 100-page .pdf document, delivery of remediated documents within 10 working days from document receipt by the vendor, to the vendor providing a remediated document with all required reports to the Client project manager.

The Candidate will use both automated testing tools and manual testing for document remediation. Client does not currently utilize an automated testing tool, and does not have manual testing procedures for this service. Client will use Adobe accessibility internal tools to confirm remediation.

Document Creation and Remediation Training: The Vendor will train Client staff to remediate documents to meet WCAG 2.0 AA standards. This training includes teaching Client staff how to create documents with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel to produce pdf documents that meet WCAG 2.0 AA standards. Training provided by the vendor must incorporate hands-on exercises that produce compliant documents.

Qualifications
In 2 or fewer pages, describe at least three similar projects completed in the last three years by the Consultant. Include the outcomes achieved for the customer. Identify this customer and provide contact information (name, telephone, email, etc.) for this customer.
Document Remediation Approach and Methodology: In 2 or fewer pages describe the Consultant’s proposed approach and methodology for providing document remediation services. Discuss the tools used by Candidate to provide these services, and how Consultant conducts pre-assessment and post-assessment of documents.
Training Services Methodology: In 2 or fewer pages describe the Consultant’s proposed approach and methodology for training Client staff to remediate documents to meet WCAG 2.0 AA standards. Describe how your training program incorporates hands-on exercises that produce compliant documents. Describe training delivery methods (such as on-line training, classroom, etc.).
