Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) businesses build enduring client relationships through sound, thoughtful and objective advice. We help our clients by developing individualized plans for everything from retirement goals to business succession planning, to family legacy intentions. Services include comprehensive planning and advice, investment management, brokerage, private banking, estate planning strategies, trust, and both individual and institutional retirement.

The WFA Online Accessibility Program Leader will report to the leader of the WFA User-Centered Design (UCD) & Innovation group. The WFA Online Accessibility Program Leader will lead a team of digital accessibility consultants to ensure that WFA’s digital content complies with Wells Fargo’s ADA Title III and the Digital Accessibility Policy.

This leadership role will be responsible for continuing to develop and mature WFA’s digital accessibility program by identifying gaps in business processes that introduce ADA risk. They will provide strategic direction that focuses on creating consistency in the team’s accessibility testing, reporting, and consulting strategies, and will work closely with the ADA Title III and Digital Properties policy teams to ensure procedures align with policy requirements. This leader will be responsible for oversight of issue management activities for ADA related SHRP issues and corrective actions. They will also take on the role of WFA’s ADA Coordinator, acting as a liaison between the business and the ADA Title III policy proponent and providing guidance on this regulatory policy to WFA team members.

This position requires strong and supportive leadership skills to coach and mentor a team of highly skilled digital accessibility subject matter experts (both team members and managed resources) who work in a fast paced environment and provide consultation and policy guidance to WFA as digital content and platforms are developed.
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

Leadership and advocacy skills that influence business partners and senior management to understand the importance and requirements of digital accessibility work
The ability to explain complex, often technical concepts to a wide audience, including senior management
Collaborative leadership skills with the capability of initiating action and managing change in a fast paced environment
Strong relationship management, influencing, vision, and execution skills
The ability to understand and operate successfully in a complex, heavily matrixed corporate environment
A sense of urgency, passion for results, and personal accountability for achievement while having ability to make timely and difficult decisions

The candidate will work closely with both leadership within User-Centered Design & Innovation functions as well as other leaders across WFA Digital Products. This leader will also be interacting with other oversight groups such as WFA Risk, WIM Risk, WFA Compliance, Enterprise Digital Properties Governance, and WFA’s assigned Digital Property Administrators. Accordingly, critical success factors will include the ability to develop partnerships with multiple business and functional areas to provide process insight into the risks, controls, gaps, and trends which present opportunities to de-risk WFA processes.


Required Qualifications

8+ years of e-business experience
2+ years of leadership experience



Desired Qualifications

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of issues or change management processes
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Leadership skills including; coaching, training, and mentoring



Other Desired Qualifications

Strong understanding of digital accessibility concepts, including demonstrated knowledge of WCAG 2.0 standards and success criteria
Thorough understanding of the digital accessibility and ADA Title III policies and related industry standards
Risk and regulatory compliance partnership experience
Experience with the SDLC and Agile frameworks required to deliver end to end products with strong knowledge of the overall financial services industry and regulatory environment
Proven leadership ability to drive successful execution of business initiatives
Ability to plan, prioritize and set goals
Ability to influence and consult strategically across a large organization and with various levels of leadership/stakeholders
Ability to drive and lead organizational change
