We’re looking for someone to help us as we put the user at the heart of our accessible digital applications. All our residents deserve apps that support their needs, with great UI and UX. You will be a key part in improving existing apps and delivering new ones. We embrace the work done by the government and want to extend and maintain digital standards based on Government Digital Services (GDS) principles.

We’re on a journey to give our residents digital access apps across all services and need someone who is passionate about being the voice of the user. You will actively engage with our community to understand how they are using our digital apps and what we can do to improve their experience. You will need to present your findings to a wide range of internal stakeholders and engage with them to help them improve digital deliverables. Training others and sharing your knowledge will be a key part of your role.

You will have accessibility specialists working for you and need to work with and manage them to ensure legislative compliance to WCAG (currently 2.1 AA).
