Full Job Description
Within the Experience Design (XD) team, Content Experience helps create end-to-end experiences that meet customer needs and business goals. As a Sr. Content Strategist for our Evernorth team, you’ll help evolve and expand vision for our enterprise offering to both customers and clients. In this role, you will create both high-level strategy and do hands-on writing and editing across customer journeys, utilizing data and analytics to inform and improve your work.

We’re looking for a senior-level UX-focused content strategist who passionate about creating effective user experiences with a solid understanding design methods, product content strategy, and content engineering. You’ll partner with the XD team (User Experience Designers, Researchers, Data Analysts, Email Technologists, and Content Engineers) to define content strategy, and produce customer-centered content across channels.

This position is with Evernorth, a new business within the Cigna Corporation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Plan, write, edit, test, and improve product experiences across the Evernorth portfolio.
Help design processes to facilitate the needs of the business.
Think strategically about how content scales across channels and devices to create a holistic experience across touchpoints
Lead content activities and initiatives on cross-functional teams
Contribute to content models, style guides, patterns, and information architecture
Develop accessible messaging consistent with A11y guidelines with a focus on health literacy.
Define and implement information architecture and navigation systems across complex product sets
Advocate for content strategy and design thinking throughout the broader organization

QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years creating content for digital channels
Contributions to UX and content strategy operations
Have worked with writers, content strategists, and other UX disciplines across departments to create consistent user experiences
Worked closely with engineering and product management teams as part of the software development process
Demonstrated ability to create, implement, and maintain content standards across an organization.
Bonus points for knowledge of enterprise/web content management systems
Must be a current contractor with Cigna, Express Scripts, or Evernorth. Evernorth is a new business within the Cigna Corporation.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $102,500 - $170,900, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
