As the product accessibility audit program manager leader you will define the vision and scope for and oversee the Salesforce product accessibility compliance and audit program which assesses product accessibility relative to WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), supporting our journey to the most accessible company. This position reports to the Product Accessibility Compliance Director in the Salesforce Product Accessibility and Inclusive Design team.
The program responsibilities and deliverables include:
Coordinate accessibility audits with internal product teams following established processes, and implement improvements to scale the program, shift quality left and earlier in the development lifecycle
Effectively communicate program execution status, key accomplishments, and risks to stakeholders.
Perform quality reviews of and publish accessibility conformance reports to external website
Upload audit findings to bug tracking system
Collaborate with product teams and accessibility leads to review gaps and repeated findings, and prioritize and track fixes to audit exceptions
Partner with the Office of Accessibility, Sourcing, Legal, Strategy and Operations to ensure program success
Manage our process around responding to customer requests escalated from Support regarding product accessibility compliance.
Respond to requests for and share audit results with customers and internal stakeholders
Track audit expenses to allocated budget
Manage the relationship with external accessibility auditors, including regular quality assessments
Requirements:
Eight to twelve years experience in running, and improving programs at scale
Experience with Accessibility compliance, including expertise in industry and governmental standards and policy relating to international web accessibility standards
Able to create and maintain relationships with business and technical experts through the company
Excellent organizing skills. You have a strong eye for detail.
Great communicator. In particular, you should excel at explaining compliance requirements and project issues to diverse audiences (across varying technical and business backgrounds) in a way that fosters understanding and ownership
