Your Impact:

This role will create, and manage written accessibility content which ensures that our trailhead content and documents are accessible to Trailblazers with disabilities.

Specifically you will:

Write technical content specifically for screen reader users which compliments Trailhead content for any and all modules and trails related to salesforce ecosystem jobs and workforce development

Work cross functionally with the OOA and variousTrailhead teams to coordinate and implement accessibility related content changes

Build and maintain working relationships with business partners in order to improve and increase awareness of accessibility standards

The Person Most Successful in this Role Will:

Be a specialist in screen reader software such as JAWS and NVDA and have specific knowledge of digital accessibility

Have experience with industry standards relating to digital accessibility

Be able to build and manage relationships with business and technical specialists through the company, evangelizing accessible design and development

Be a phenomenal communicator- whether vocal, signed or written. In particular, you should excel at explaining compliance requirements to diverse audiences (across varying technical and business backgrounds) in a way that cultivates understanding and ownership

Have a dedication to, understanding of, and sensitivity to the multiple facets of disability inclusion and accessibility

Know how to build systems to track and report on project metrics such as percentage of modules with and without screen reader content, speed of process integration by partners, and usage of content by Trailblazers

Desired Skills:

Salesforce Administration certification and/or experience instructing Salesforce content

Experience with a collaboration suite such as Google Apps

Experience in writing technical content specific to screen reader users

Tight-knit collaboration in a highly matrixed organization, with tightly connected partnerships across multiple partner groups, strong attention to detail and excellent project management skills

Role Requirements:

5+ years digital accessibility experience

3+ years of technical writing experience
