"ServiceNow Tester

B&A is seeking a ServiceNow Tester to support the modernization of the organization’s asset management solution. This initiative involves implementing the ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM) module to replace the legacy OpenText Asset Manager system. The Tester will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, functionality, and compliance of the ITAM solution, with a focus on automated testing, accessibility validation (Section 508 / WCAG 2.1 Level AA), and alignment with project requirements.

Responsibilities

* Plan, design, and execute test cases for the ServiceNow ITAM module and related platform components (ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, GRC, Security Ops).
* Utilize ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) and other automation tools to validate system functionality, workflows, and integrations.
* Ensure all testing and quality assurance efforts meet Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility compliance standards.
* Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
* Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for the ITAM implementation and migration from OpenText Asset Manager.
* Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, developers, and SMEs to validate requirements and ensure accurate test coverage.
* Track, document, and manage defects using ServiceNow or other defect management tools, ensuring timely resolution.
* Support performance testing and provide recommendations for optimization.
* Provide input into continuous improvement of testing processes and standards.

Education and Experience

* Bachelor's degree
* 8+ years of experience leading teams

Required Skills

* Proven experience testing ServiceNow applications, with emphasis on ITAM or related modules (ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Security Ops, GRC).
* Strong technical knowledge of ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) and other automated testing tools.
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience ensuring Section 508 / WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance in testing and validation.
* Experience developing test-related documentation, including test cases, test plans, and test reports.
* Hands-on experience performing functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing on enterprise IT platforms.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify, track, and document defects effectively.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Familiarity with Agile and Traditional project methodologies as they relate to testing activities.

Desired Skills

* ServiceNow certifications (e.g., ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, Implementation Specialist).
* ISTQB or other software testing certification.
* Experience testing accessibility compliance for enterprise IT systems.
* Experience supporting modernization or migration from legacy systems to ServiceNow.
* Familiarity with ITIL practices and IT service management frameworks.
* Experience testing in government, public sector, or other regulated environments.

Security Clearance

* Eligible to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
