The Accessibility and Website Specialist is an essential role in Fisher Investments' Corporate Communications department. Reporting to the Digital Strategy & Operations Team Leader, you will help ensure Accessibility best practices are maintained throughout the organization to support our commitment to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. Additionally, you will help build web pages and manage content support goals for multiple departments within the firm.

The Day-to-Day:

Help maintain and improve the accessibility of the company's content (primarily digital)
Partner with designers, content creators, software developers, and page builders to ensure accessibility needs are incorporated into changes to the website and app
Stay informed about changes to standards in the accessibility space both in the US and internationally (WCAG 2.1)
Manage regular testing of website content internally and with third-party vendors
Champion accessibility inside our organization with communication of its purpose, methods, and importance
Build web pages and manage content updates within our Site Core CMS tool
Coordinate requirements across our Sales, IT, Legal and Analytics departments
Work with software developers to enhance the offering of our web site, app, and supporting tools

Your Qualifications:

1+ years demonstrated CMS experience (Site Core preferred)
Basic HTML/CSS/WCAG 2.1 for purposes of manipulating visual presentations, styles, and remediation of existing content or the design and accessibility of new content
Follow multiple project timelines at once and communicate updates to management
Focus on using data to inform marketing decisions
UX, JavaScript or design skills a plus
