In the over-sight role, the candidate brings a testing mindset to the team, and is responsible for ensuring all testing functions support the delivery of complex software requirements to accomplish business outcomes. Ensures the testing strategy and processes are followed with frequent lessons learned feedback for continuous improvement. Enforce test and automation strategies, the use and adherence of test frameworks, and best practices are used for test data generation, defect management and reporting. Leads test planning for complex features that span across the platform or multiple teams. Ensures alignment and sign off for test cases from business and other stakeholders. Optimizes test suites employing techniques such risk-based testing. Monitors test execution and assists with resolving, communicating or escalating any issues that may result in test plan variance for the applications assigned. Contributes to test data management approach, processes and tools. Reviews the creation of test data and ensures data compliance requirements are met on all levels of test environments. Assists their teams with identifying and managing sensitive test data. Participates in triaging reported issues/defects and assists with resolving or escalating them as necessary. Ensures all QE best practices are utilized and adhered to resulting in the highest quality deliverable as possible. Facilitates coaching, and building individual development plans that are needed to develop competencies and skills. Understands individual and team maturity and performance through team/client feedback. Manages relationships with the business, technology leaders, and vendor partners.

Required Skills

Degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science or related Engineering Field
7+ Years QA testing experience -Functional and Accessibility
3. 5 + Years Team lead experience working with multiple teams on a complex applications (client/server)
Experience with test automation tool set – (Mainly JAWS, CCA, TOSCA, UFT and/or Selenium)
Strong Agile Methodology background - Agile tools (JIRA, qTest, etc.)
Strong competency in requirement analysis, prioritize tasks, identify risks
Strong knowledge of WCAG Guidelines / Success Criteria’s -2.1 A/AA
Experience writing and executing detailed test cases, test plans, and test Strategy documents
Excellent interpersonal skills, communicates effectively, builds relationships, influences others
Provides testing knowledge and capabilities as a team leader and individual contributor

Desired Skills

Familiarity and experience working with various testing levels such as, integration testing, functional, regression and end to end system testing
Highly motivated, able to work independently. Must be a fast learner, and team player
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Strong knowledge of WCAG Guidelines (2.1A/AA)
Familiar with Automation Testing using TOSCA/Selenium
