Atlassian's mission to help unleash the potential of every team. To support this, the Accessibility Team owns our strategy and programs to make every Atlassian experience accessible for people living with disability.

We are the Core Accessibility Team with expertise in research, design, engineering, program management, assistive technologies, and more. We work across the company to help teams build accessibility expertise, understand user needs and create great experiences that are inclusive and easier for everyone to use.

We are looking for a chief of staff or operations expert with an understanding of Accessibility who connects strategy to action and brings operational excellence to their teams. You will report to the Global Head of Accessibility and will partner with teams across the company to land strategic initiatives. You will be an important thought leader and catalyst for activation - collaborating across the business to ensure alignment of goals and successful execution.

What you'll do

Mature our program practices and business metrics to reliably deliver the most important outcomes
Increase the effectiveness of our team (e.g. diagnosing pain points and implementing changes, creating scalable processes, improving decision-making)
Establish and lead team rituals (e.g. weekly team meetings, quarterly health monitors, retrospectives, team offsites) and find new ways to make the program run smoother.
Support budget and operationalresponsibilities (e.g. identifying and bringing on new vendors, managing statements of work, compiling and drafting funding requests)
Manage change initiatives to improve communication, collaboration and execution with partner teams
Ensure a steady rhythm of reporting and communications to maintain visibility and awareness of program status
Monitor projects to ensure completion of deliverables according to schedule

Your background

5+ years of relevant professional experience in business operations, consulting, strategy or program management
You are a thoughtful teammate and an excellent collaborator, so you excel at developing trusted partnerships with other teams and are known for high-quality results
You enjoy bringing order to disorder. You love to create new structures, frameworks, and processes from scratch, and ensure activities run well
You have experience leading programs of work, managing partner expectations and dependencies, and driving change management across a large, globally distributed organizations
You understand the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies and can draw upon best practices, patterns and Agile frameworks
Know how to strike the right balance - creating just enough process to achieve the desired outcome
You embrace diversity and are receptive to new ideas and people who are different

Great but not required

Experience managing and working with outsourced resources and vendors
3+ years of experience developing statements of work and procurement processes
Experience managing or contributing to Accessibility programs at scale (5000+ employees)
Professional certifications, like IAAP's CPACC or CPWA
