Digital Marketing & Content Coordinator – Remote (IAAP & G3ict)

Are you a skilled digital communicator passionate about accessibility and inclusion? The International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP), in collaboration with G3ict, is looking for a Digital Marketing & Content Coordinator to elevate their global digital presence and advance digital accessibility for all.

This is a full-time, remote role ideal for someone with experience in content creation, social media management, and a strong understanding of accessibility best practices.
Key Responsibilities of the Digital Marketing & Content Coordinator

As the Digital Marketing & Content Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in enhancing IAAP and G3ict’s global digital outreach. Key responsibilities include:
1. Content Creation

You will be responsible for developing and managing content across multiple platforms, such as websites, blogs, newsletters, and social media. This content must be engaging, accessible, and informative, supporting the goals of both IAAP and G3ict.
2. Social Media Management

You will oversee the social media strategies of IAAP and G3ict, managing multiple platforms, scheduling posts, responding to inquiries, and analyzing performance metrics. Your role will ensure that the organizations engage with their target audiences effectively and maintain a strong digital presence.
3. Campaign Planning & Execution

You will coordinate digital marketing campaigns, developing strategies, creating content, executing plans, and analyzing performance. Your work will help promote IAAP and G3ict’s initiatives and ensure campaigns reach the right audience.
4. Analytics & Reporting

You will track key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media, website traffic, and other digital campaigns. You will use tools like Google Analytics and Google Ads to measure engagement and success, making data-driven adjustments to strategies.
5. SEO & Digital Strategy

Implement best practices in SEO to optimize content discoverability. Your role will involve ensuring that content is easily found by search engines and reaches the appropriate audience.
6. Inclusive Communication

You will ensure that all content is accessible and inclusive, adhering to WCAG 2.1 guidelines. This includes writing clear, concise copy and using accessible design principles for all digital communications.
7. Collaboration

As part of a collaborative team, you will work closely with internal teams, including communication and marketing, to create cohesive and impactful messaging and materials.
Qualifications and Skills Required

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in digital marketing and accessibility. Key qualifications include:
1. Digital Marketing Experience

Proven experience managing social media channels and using analytics tools to optimize performance and engagement.
2. Content Creation Skills

Excellent abilities in copywriting, video editing, and digital storytelling. You should be able to create compelling content that aligns with the goals of IAAP and G3ict.
3. Technical Proficiency

Experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, SEO strategies, and newsletter platforms. The ability to track and adjust campaigns based on performance metrics is crucial.
4. Commitment to Accessibility and Inclusion

A deep commitment to creating accessible and inclusive content. Experience in working with accessibility standards and designing content that adheres to these principles.
5. Proven Storytelling Abilities

Strong skills in digital storytelling, ensuring that content is engaging and resonates with diverse audiences.
Bonus Qualifications

Nonprofit, Tech, Education, or Accessibility Experience: Familiarity with these sectors is a plus.
Knowledge of Accessibility Standards: A strong understanding of accessibility guidelines, especially WCAG 2.1, would be highly beneficial.
