As our Accessibility Analyst and Graphic Designer, you'll be a vital member of the team that ensures ADA Section 508/WCAG and other accessibility standards are met and brand requirements are upheld in The Standard's external communications. You will support the organization by 1) Serving as an integral member of compliance reviews by certifying accessibility compliance 2) Defining guidelines and best practices for accessibility-driven design 3) Creating WCAG compliant/accessible communications, templates and digital assets that will be used across the organization.

What You'll Do:

Audit PDF documents to ensure adherence to accessibility standards and remediate/direct remediation in consultation with clients as needed. Perform accessibility audits of microsite content. Evaluate the accessibility of externally hosted content. Monitor and publish The Standard's accessibility performance.
Develop and implement compliant design templates and assets that will be accessed on the DAM or used on The Standard's templating platform by content creators across the organization.
Recommend guidelines, best practices, and standards related to designing and maintaining accessible content. Develop accessibility training.
Collaborate and design accessible print and digital content.


The Skills and Background You'll Need:

Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience.
Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills.
WCAG 2.1 certification or working towards certification.
4-6 years business experience in graphic design, with at least 2 years of experience evaluating and applying accessibility standards to print and digital communications.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Enjoy working as part of a team and collaborating with others.

Please note - the salary range for this role is listed below. In addition to salary, our package includes incentive plan participation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits, as well as an initial PTO accrual of 164 hours per year. Employees also receive 11 paid holidays and 2 wellness days per year.


Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.



Salary Range:
$71,000.00 - $104,000.00
