Corporate Services is at the centre of the action, providing the support that enables Bell’s industry leadership. Our Corporate Security & Responsibility, Communications, Human Resources, Procurement & Value Creation and Real Estate teams work collaboratively to drive our corporate strategy forward.



The Human Resources team plays a key role in helping Bell achieve its business objectives by enhancing organizational efficiency through delivering competitive employee program, policies and processes, building and attracting top talent, driving employee effectiveness.



We are seeking an Accessibility Program Manager to support HR and employment initiatives. You will work with various internal stakeholders to develop and implement strategies to improve accessibility across Bell’s employee lifecycle. You will explore the employee journey in-depth, identify accessibility and inclusion gaps and opportunities for innovation, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate in the development of HR Accessibility Plans, reports, templates and best practices manuals
Support the execution of HR Accessibility Plans and implementation process
Provide best practices, guidance and support to HR, leaders and employees on accessibility challenges, solutions and legislative/ regulatory requirements
Establish HR governance and framework to review, identify and adjust existing processes
Proactively collaborate with key internal stakeholders to integrate accessibility standards across workplace policies, programs and environments
Conduct feedback consultations with team members with disabilities to evaluate and identify areas of opportunity to streamline and advance the Company’s accessibility practices and enhance the experience of employees and candidates with disabilities
Support in developing action plans based on employee feedback
Support program communications activities including progress updates
Provide expertise to develop training and create awareness to support accessibility
Create and manage a centralized repository of best-in-class accessibility solutions, product vendors, and other tools/resources
Collaborate across accessibility program streams to develop and enforce accessibility compliance


Critical Competencies:

Strong commitment to accessibility and disability inclusion
Experience implementing diversity and inclusion programs and innovating on behalf of (and with) people with disabilities
University Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Equity Diversity and Inclusion is preferred for this role; an equivalent combination of post-secondary education, skills and experience will be considered
2+ years of experience in program or cross functional project management
Analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to understand business priorities and issues, exercise sound independent judgement and leverage data for making key decisions and building business cases
Strong leadership skills and solid sense of accountability
Strong communicator, relationship builder and collaborator
Detail orientated with strong ability to prioritize, organize and manage a workload
Practical Knowledge of Canada’s Accessibility Laws, including ACA, AODA, AMA, and others
High degree of proficiency in all MS Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)


Desired Competencies

Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and in French are an asset.
We require knowledge of English for the position. This is a national role where the position will be required to communicate with people based outside of Quebec
