As part of the Digital Design Delivery team, you will be part of the Digital Accessibility team and responsible for collaboratively maintaining, improving, enforcing, and coaching best-practice Digital Accessibility across the business.

Your new role

As a Digital Accessibility Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects and services are informed and educated on best-practice Accessibility standards. Working together with the Digital Accessibility team, the role is responsible for upholding NAB's Accessibility standard, working with assigned delivery team(s) to review designs, assess project requirements, and test output to ensure compliance.

Working with assigned project team(s), standard activities throughout the Agile project lifecycle are to:

Review UI designs and UX wireframes for Accessibility and Usability issues
Conduct Accessibility gap analysis on task Acceptance Criteria
Provide Accessibility-specific requirements for tasks, including required ARIA attributes, semantic HTML mark-up, and screen reader behaviour scenarios
Perform cross-browser, -device, and -screen reader testing
Log defects and assist with solutions for any issues identified above
Support implementation of best-practice Digital Accessibility with internal stakeholders, including recommending solutions for improved usability

In this role you are expected to work as an inclusive, collaborative member of the Digital Accessibility team to ensure a unified accessibility standard is applied across all of NAB's digital assets. This is achieved through documentation, workshops, and education initiatives with project and service teams.

What you will bring

You can work collaboratively work across the business to deliver outcomes and come to us with:

Knowledge and experience with application of WCAG 2.1 (Level AA) standards is essential
Demonstrated experience testing on NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, and/or TalkBack
Knowledge of and/or passion for best-practice Accessibility, Usability, Inclusive Design, human-centered design principles or similar is essential
Experience with cross-browser, cross-device, and cross-screen reader testing is expected
Knowledge of basic HTML and CSS, or familiarity with iOS and/or Android design systems is desired
Strong communication skills and ability to provide rationale for decisions is essential

Your strong interpersonal skills, coupled with your ability to put the customer at the centre of all initiatives will ensure your success in this role.
