Senior Accessibility Tester / Lead

Your Role and Responsibilities
The Accessibility Tester / Lead will be responsible for managing the Section 508 Compliance Testing across the VICCS portfolio. The position requires identification of in-scope areas of the VICCS Automation Platform (IAP) requiring validation, creation of Test Plans and Test Cases to support the validation, executing the validation and reporting results. The individual will collaborate with designers and developers to make recommendations to materials to meet Federal and Corporate guidelines for accessibility and provide remediation recommendations.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

At least 3 year of hands-on Accessibility and 508 Compliance and WCAG 2.0 Level A and AA compliance standards testing and test planning experience in the Federal space
At least 3 year of experience in collaborating with development and design teams to make recommendations to meet accessibility guidelines and provide remediation steps when not compliant
At least 2 year of Hands-on experience with Accessibility tools including (but not limited to) JAWS and pdf validation tools
At least 1 year of experience working independently and self-managing the 508-compliance test program
VA Agency Clearance required


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

At least 2 years of experience with Public Sector Clients (US Federal, Higher Education, State and Local Governments)
At least 2 years of experience and Familiarity with leveraging Jira/Confluence for tracking bugs and remediation
At least 2 years of General knowledge and experience with leading automation software products
At least 2 years of experience and Familiarity with cognitive, automation, and related emerging technologies and techniques
At least 2 years of experience in Broad-based general technology ecosystem and industry understanding
Familiar with business designs: business models, functions, processes, job roles and customer interactions as well as how they are impacted by digitization, AI/automation and emerging technologies/techniques
