Job Description
Scope:

Run test from a library of scripts and identify the bug.
Assess if is it a feature that should be in the product.
Is the industry standard feature working?
Is the industry standard feature working as intended?
Log issues findings into the database.
Responsibilies:

Provide manual accessibility testing for in-market and ongoing new releases of applications and services.
Create and execute accessibility tests for new and existing features (includes creating test plans, writing and executing accessibility scenarios, production readiness certification for new features and test status report for new features).
Responsible for Accessibility Grading Review, Submitting for Certification, Customer coordination and reporting for different accessibility grades and levels covering basic through advanced accessibility grades.
Process management including bug submission, tracking and reporting to test engineering managers and/or team members.
Manage test cases.
Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Location: On-site - Applicant must be a commutable distance.

Required Schedule: Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm PST

Resume must reflect the required experience/qualifications to be considered.

Expertise in a11y concepts and WCAG 2.1 guidelines.
Execute accessibility tests for new and existing features.
Hands-on experience Working with multiple Screen Readers like Narrator, JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver and TalkBack.
Abilty to run Accessibility Assessments, Validations and Release Testing.
Experience using Accessibility Testing Tools (Keros, WAT, AccCheck, Inspect, Color Contrast Analyzer, Lazy Contrast, Invert Colors).
Expertise in accessibility testing on both web and mobile:
Manual testing covering Android, iOS, Chromium, MacOS, Goobuntu and Windows covering Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer browsers
Provide test results that are clear and thorough in database - Bug Log:
Write reports to describe the user experience,
Note which features are accessible and why,
Identify which features are not accessible
Make recommendations for how they can be made more accessible.
Motivated self-starter & problem solver.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.

Physical Demand & Work Environment:

Must have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing
Must have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment
Must be able to use a computer
Must have the ability to communicate effectively
Some positions may require occasional repetitive motion or movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
