What you’ll be doing
* Leading efforts to embed accessibility into digital design and delivery across Corporate Units
* Creating and maintaining accessibility standards, ensuring compliance with WCAG 2.2 (AA) and promoting inclusive design from the outset
* Advising on accessible design and code, and verifying the accessibility of key journeys before launch
* Supporting agile and design ops teams by integrating inclusive user experience principles and delivering ongoing awareness and upskilling sessions
* Overseeing accessibility testing practices and driving continuous improvement
* Championing accessibility with stakeholders and contributing to a vibrant internal accessibility community
* Building strong relationships with internal teams and external tech partners to influence inclusive product development
* Keeping pace with emerging trends and best practices in digital accessibility to inform and evolve our approach
The skills you'll need
* Practical experience applying WCAG standards across a range of technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
* Confidence working with mobile applications and assistive technologies such as screen readers
* Familiarity with design systems and how to embed accessibility within them
* Experience influencing SaaS vendors to adopt inclusive design practices
* Understanding of agile methodologies and tools like JIRA
* Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate across a large, global organisation
* A proactive approach to staying current with accessibility trends and best practices
