Job Description

This position acts as the staff authority and technical expert to ensure the Department’s compliance with digital accessibility requirements. The role involves leading digital accessibility efforts and guiding programs in implementation, ensuring alignment with CDHS accessibility goals, OIT accessibility rules, Colorado HB 21-1110, and the ADA Title II Web and Mobile Rule. Responsibilities include digital accessibility strategy, compliance oversight, product remediation, training, contract and budget management, and collaboration with internal and external partners. The position requires a minimum of seven years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in digital accessibility and related fields. Work arrangements are hybrid with at least 2 days onsite. Residency in Colorado is required. The role emphasizes expertise in accessibility standards, excellent communication, strategic project management, and organizational skills.
