As a **_Digital Accessibility Specialist,_** you will be part of the Accessibility Center of Excellence supporting cross-functional teams including Product, Design, Engineering, and Quality. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Digital Accessibility Specialist **Location:** Cincinnati, OH / Hybrid (will consider REMOTE for the right candidate) **Pay Range:** $59/hr W2 **What's the Job?** * Support the Accessibility Center of Excellence by partnering with Product, Design, Engineering, and Quality teams to deliver accessible digital experiences. * Conduct audits of design systems and content management platforms to ensure accessibility compliance. * Perform manual and automated accessibility testing across web and mobile platforms, ensuring adherence to WCAG 2.2 AA and related standards. * Identify accessibility barriers, document defects, and develop high-quality reports and recommendations for remediation. * Contribute to training, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives to promote best accessibility practices across the organization. **What's Needed?** * 5+ years of experience in digital accessibility, inclusive design, or related roles in product development environments. * Deep hands-on expertise with assistive technologies (e.g., JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack, Dragon, switch access, magnification tools). * Strong working knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA and Section 508, with the ability to map findings to standards. * Experience translating accessibility requirements into actionable design and development recommendations. * Proven ability to influence, coach, and collaborate across cross-functional teams with excellent communication skills. **What's in it for me?** * Opportunity to work on impactful projects that promote digital inclusion and accessibility. * Collaborative and innovative work environment supporting professional growth. * Engagement with industry-leading accessibility standards and tools. * Chance to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and shape best practices. * Supportive team culture that values diversity and inclusion.
