Job Description
The Digital Communications Coordinator provides procedural structure and support for digital email communications to alumni, donors, parents, and friends of Syracuse University. The position supports the systems and platforms responsible for distributing over 1,500 email communications annually and coordinating online alumni communities and digital event registrations. The coordinator creates, schedules, and coordinates email sends to over 600,000 alumni, parents, donors, and friends while avoiding recipient overlap. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with PCI, CAN-SPAM, and WCAG (web accessibility) regulations, supporting digital event registration processes, including page builds, updates, reporting, and troubleshooting. The role requires strong organizational skills, experience with digital marketing tools, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional after-hours work.
