Job Details

As an Accessibility Program Manager, you will combine exceptional project management skills with a passion and deep knowledge of accessibility to help your team make our products more inclusive and accessible. You’ll plan projects, define milestones, assess risks, create actionable insights, create processes, and ensure projects meet deadlines. You’ll harmonize the work of the technical accessibility team, while also working closely with Engineering, Product Management, User Experience (UX), and Ethical Use cross-functional partners, to drive team objectives and create innovative experiences.

Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and operational excellence across the accessibility team and partner cloud teams to deliver the highest level of trusted, strategic counsel through project interactions.

Identify team needs for process, tools, documentation, and asset management, driving required changes to make sure technical accessibility leads are working at optimum efficiency.

Develop accessibility methodologies and metrics to build programs that scale across teams and allow technical accessibility leads to doing their best work.

Represent the Technical Accessibility Team in cross-functional collaborations with Engineering, Product Management (PM), and UX teams, ensuring effective collaboration and making sure interdependencies are understood and planned for.

Lead and collaborate with executives & leadership in key decision-making and orchestrate successful delivery for multiple accessibility-related projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

10-15 years of relevant industry experience in program management

3+ years of experience leading accessibility programs within mature organizations and an understanding of how to maximize accessibility in team collaboration processes and tools

Experience with operationalizing programs

Strong strategic acumen

Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills, and ability to communicate complex interaction concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.

Effectiveness in working across organizational boundaries to define, manage, and prioritize work.

Working knowledge of project management software, spreadsheets, Google Docs.
