As member of the Enterprise Digital Accessibility Team, you will collaborate with and learn from a highly skilled accessibility team (15+ members) to provide various internal clients with information about their digital properties’ compliance, usability and guidance to make for a better accessible user experience.
As Digital Vendor Accessibility Reviewer works with Digital Teams that are engaging an outside vendor to provide digital applications or digital services. You will assess the accessibility health of the vendor’s offering against WCAG 2.1 A-AA.
This can be done through a combination of ways; VPAT / ACR, testing a prototype or demo site from the vendor and reviewing any other statements about their accessibility plans and capability. You then report back this assessment to the Digital and advise on impacts to full compliance.
Our VPAT / ACR review process has been refined so there is a set procedure to follow and training will be provided. The role does require experience in QA Accessibility Testing and WCAG (specifically translating each success criteria to the particular user impacted).
The Vendor Reviews will be 50-75% of your work. Another 25-50% will be participating in accessibility testing or consulting to support Digital Team projects.
