Native Mobile Accessibility Technical Specialist

Facebook is seeking a Technical Specialist to join the Accessibility team. If you have a passion for native mobile app accessibility, understand and can use mobile assistive technology, can audit disability-user experiences and triage accessibility bugs, have experience working with engineering and QA teams, have a passion for representing the voice of the user and want to impact the lives of millions of users globally, this is the role for you!

As a Technical Specialist for Accessibility you will support the operation of the corporate Accessibility program and will work closely with the Accessibility program leads to support design, engineering, QA, and other cross-functional partners in our efforts to build inclusive products, platforms and company. While you’ll need to have a working knowledge of accessibility features, guidelines principles, this position will suit those relatively new to digital accessibility who are eager to learn and want to gain experience working at scale or prepare themselves for a transition from an accessibility testing or coding role into a program operations role. This role demands flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and and enthusiasm for operating in a fast-paced environment.

This is a contract position that will be working directly with the Facebook corporate Accessibility team which is based in Menlo Park, California.
