WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Partner with the Product Manager and the Development team of the assigned project to define acceptance criteria regarding accessibility for upcoming features.
Create and update accessibility test cases and perform requirements traceability to ensure all specifications are tested and accounted for.
Execute accessibility testing either manually or automatically.
Collaborate with the squads to prepare the accessibility testing activities and report the test results.
Keep track of the accessibility compliance of Wirisโ€™ products. Report and follow up on accessibility issues in our products.
Author accessibility training to Engineering, Product designs, and Content creators on accessibility best practices and testing practices. Continuously train the QA team members on accessibility testing.
Document accessibility testing knowledge, testing techniques, and issues workarounds.
Follow the state of the art on accessible software development guidelines and standards as well as development and testing practices and tools.
Participate in Quality Assurance team initiatives.
Spread a quality assurance culture within the organization.


WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCEED IN THIS POSITION?

Knowledge of accessibility in the software industry.
Knowledge of the most important accessibility standards such as WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), Section 508, and VPATs.
Knowledge of accessibility testing tools such as Lighthouse and Accessibility Insights.
Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Knowledge of source code management tools such as git.
Knowledge of bug reporting with thorough explanations and all the necessary information needed.
Knowledge of working with bug-tracking software.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies
Fluent in Spanish and English. Written and verbal communication must be fluent and the candidate must be able to write technical thorough documentation.
