About the Role
We are looking for a curious, innovative, and collaborative Senior Front-End Engineer to join our Growth Tech team. As a member of the Growth Tech team you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects. Prepare to be challenged, as a high level of execution is expected. Our team is responsible for apps, libraries, and projects that cross product verticals such as:
-Our dashboard, which is the point of entry / aggregated data interface for all Figure apps
-Our React component library, which is used in all of Figure’s apps
-Our marketing sites, which are built with Gatsby
-Improving the accessibility of our products through education, code and design reviews, and automated testing

What You’ll Do
-Design, develop, and test high-performing, scalable, and accessible UI in React
-Work closely with our talented design team to create a beautiful, accessible, and user-friendly web experience
-Improve the development experience at Figure by enhancing development tools, test coverage, and/or code structure.
-Work on software solutions that will transform the consumer lending and blockchain space
-Originate, champion, and execute new ideas for projects
-Collaborate with project leads and other software engineers across multiple teams

What We Look For
-5+ years engineering/development experience in a fast-paced, agile environment
-Proficiency with modern Javascript frameworks, ReactJS preferred
-Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to mentor junior team members
-Proficiency in Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD)
-Interest in creating accessible products that everyone can use. A CPACC or WAS certification is preferred, but not required
-Familiarity with Iterative Software Development “If it’s not in production we aren’t iterating.”
