Senior Product Marketing Manager- Accessibility

To fulfill that promise, we are looking for a Product Marketing Management lead dedicated to accessibility and inclusivity across the entire Office portfolio of products. The person we want in this role will:

Be a champion for the needs of people spanning the full range of human abilities
Have a user-experience mindset: get into the minds of specific users; think about their journeys step-by-step; identify and flag areas where they could be blocked, frustrated or otherwise inhibited in their achievements.
Have experience in technology product management, shepherding product concepts from initial idea through refinement, iteration, planning, development and deployment.
Have a talent for working effectively and inclusively across teams, driving a vision with quality while bringing stakeholders along with a sense of collaboration and co-ownership.
If possible, have a direct (personal or otherwise) experience with accessibility and inclusivity and/or be personally vested in the mission to make our products valuable for everyone.

Responsibilities
The person who joins our team will be our driver and change agent, bringing accessibility and inclusivity to the forefront of thinking and priority in the product marketing, product management and engineering organizations. Specifically, s/he will:

Dive deeply into customer research & insights to identify the most urgent and widespread user needs in the worlds of accessibility and inclusivity.
Translate those needs into jobs to be done by Microsoft to improve our users’ experiences
Identify and develop concepts for products and services that can help users complete those jobs
Guide those concepts through thoughtful ideation, iteration, and prototyping
Work with internal partners and stakeholders who can take the concepts and turn them into real product, staying true to the concept vision.
Become a trusted/respected SME across the PMM team (and beyond) – be the first person colleagues come to so they can make their concepts more inclusive and accessible.
Acts as a thought leader and influencer across the team
Acts as an owner for accessibility concepts and projects, working with light input/direction and acting independently to drive the work successfully into product

Qualifications

5+ Product Management and/or Product Marketing experience. i.e the process of guiding a product from the first identification of a user need through experience definition, development, deployment and iteration.
Strong familiarity with the Microsoft consumer-product portfolio.
Preferred experience in the Accessibility space - as a thought leader, an advocate, a developer, a marketer, a teacher/administrator, or through another professional capacity.
