Sr. Product Manager, Tech, Retail Accessibility

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
5+ years of customer-facing product development experience
5+ years of program management experience
5+ years of experience working with mobile, tablet, and PC front-end development platforms

The Retail Accessibility team's mission is to enable the world’s best shopping experience for customers with disabilities. As a Sr PMT you will define and own the delivery of solutions to elevate the accessibility of shopping on Amazon. In this role you will have the opportunity to define new ways of applying technologies to solve accessibility challenges and to improve the customer experience, all at Amazon scale.

A successful PM-T at Amazon will be a self-starter and be experienced in building customer-facing features in an e-commerce environment. You will have strong project management skills, an ability to build productive relationships with software development teams, a high degree of ownership, strong analytical ability, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and an ability to drive consensus. You will have strong presentation skills and an ability to teach accessibility concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.


Experience defining and launching accessible products or services
Knowledge of agile product development and lifecycle management process
Demonstrated ability in working with customer feedback and metrics to translate customer needs into business and product requirements
Strong understanding of user experience, universal design, accessible design, and human interaction factors.
Knowledge of WAI guidelines and specifications, including: WCAG and WAI-ARIA and screen-reader expertise a plus.
