Purpose of Job We are currently seeking a talented Accessibility Governance Advisor I for our San Antonio, TX facility.

The candidate selected for this position will be a key component of the Accessibility Operations team in USAA’s Member Operational Communications, a part of the Chief Administrative Office. They will work with MetricStream, Tableau, Zoom, Slack, Ink technologies and collaborate with stakeholders across the enterprise to identify and prioritize accessibility risks, develop and advise on mitigation strategies and implement process controls. They will be responsible for conducting oversight inspections, including third party due diligence and review of adherence to the ADA policy. The candidate will gather and monitor data to evaluate and demonstrate the effectiveness of the Enterprise accessibility program.

Applies knowledge of accommodating individuals with disabilities in establishing internal standards, policies and procedures as they relate to a particular domain (digital, documents, facilities, MSR service). Provides guidance on best practices and innovative solutions to meet accessibility standards. Collaborates with stakeholders to identify and prioritize operational risks, develop mitigation strategies and implement process controls. Gathers and monitors data to evaluate and demonstrate the effectiveness of the accessibility program. Serves as an ambassador and advocates the importance of accessibility and its impact to members and the association. Participates in project planning and execution to ensure accessibility objectives are fulfilled.

Primary Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum in lieu of a degree.
4 or more years operational experience in a digital, document, building/construction, or customer service environment with knowledge of accommodating individuals with disabilities.

Preferred Requirements
Advanced knowledge of third-party accessibility risks and experience evaluating effectiveness of third-party control environments.
Knowledge conducting trend analysis and reporting
Experience in a highly regulated industry like banking and insurance.
