We are seeking a UX Designer - Accessibility. This position is integral in executing operations of the newly formed eBusiness (formerly digital marketing) team. This person is key to supporting the needs of various business units to deliver assets that drive engagement and increase business. A core part of this role will be ensuring that our websites and applications are accessible to all people and compliant with ADA guidelines.

In addition to ensuring ADA compliance, this person will be addressing opportunities related to customer engagement and creating banking experiences that go beyond simply checking your balance. Additionally, this role will play a critical part in the re-branding of the company by managing the inventory of pages and sites to be converted, addressing a scalable approach for the transition and implementing the plan to convert assets over to the new brand

This is an excellent opportunity to help drive the design and development of the next chapter in online banking. You will be leading various projects through the design process, working closely with product management, software development, visual design, and branding.

We are looking for someone with solid user-centered UX skills and with a great sense of aesthetics and design. This is a hands-on role where you will bring your creative, conceptual and problem-solving skills to translate concepts, business needs and user goals into impactful solutions. You will be working on both the web and mobile platforms. It's going to be amazing.

You will also be conducting customer research, usability tests and gathering feedback to improve the ease of use of various aspects of our product on both web and mobile.
Key Skill Sets or Knowledge Requirements:

An entrepreneurial spirit in which you take ownership of your product and work to continuously improve
Mad skills with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Sketch
Exposure to HTML5, CSS3 & JavaScript and ADA compliance-related issues
Web and Mobile design experience
Excellent organizational and communication skills
A strong commitment to meeting high expectations of end users with regard to excellent customer acquisition, retention and testing opportunities
Improve and enhance existing journey documents and wireframes using analytical methods and solid cross-functional requirements gathering
Experience working with concepts such as personalization and dynamic content based on customer and user data
A strong understanding of web development best practice and design methods
Ability to partner with various cross-functional teams for direction and consistency - providing leadership when necessary
Desired Career Experience & Education Requirements:

Minimum of 3+ years in UX design for software, web & mobile
Experience and passion for creating sites that are accessible to all people including knowing what makes a site ADA compliant
Solid track record of successful UX design, UI design & development with an emphasis on intuitive, slick, modern designs and workflows
Experience with a user-centered design process and conducting usability tests
Ability to promote and share the importance of accessibility

Preferred:

Degree in HCI, Interaction Design, Visual Design or related field
