Program Manager Lead, Digital Accessibility Center

We’re looking for an experienced Program Manager to join our Digital Experience team.
We are obsessed with our customers and strive for to create great user experiences for users of all abilities at every digital touch point.
You will play a lead role in our Digital Accessibility Center of Excellence where we are committed to ensuring users with disabilities have ease of access to our digital assets. Our team is heavily involved with company-wide governance, planning, testing, training and reporting to ensure compliance with accessibility standards and regulatory requirements. Our environment is fast paced, highly collaborative, and our team is very passionate about what we do. This role provides a tremendous opportunity to be engaged in a wide variety of digital projects throughout the enterprise.

Fundamental Components:

Assist in the management and oversight of our enterprise-wide digital accessibility program
Work with the Director of Accessibility to develop and execute plans to fulfill our mission
Provide program management oversight for multiple active projects
Support the development and execution of policies and procedures for the Digital Accessibility Center in support of maintaining compliance for the enterprise
Work directly with a wide variety of both business and technical teams to establish and monitor roadmaps for resolving digital accessibility issues
Support our digital governance program, working with internal digital teams and external vendors, ensuring that new digital assets conform to accessibility standards
Implement project escalation procedures when necessary working with business, legal and compliance partners
Help maintain our digital inventory database used for governance, tracking and reporting
Produce reports and metrics on a regular basis

Background Experience:

Great oral and written communication skills, a gracious influencer
Leadership experience directing others
Pro-active problem solver
Proven track record managing digital projects
5+ years program management experience, oversight of many active projects
Digital savvy, not a techy but solid understanding of web & mobile project lifecycles
Enthusiastic and willing to learn new things
Strong collaboration skills
Program management or Sr. Project management experience, preferably web and mobile projects
Organizational and leadership skills; ability to build relationships and influence others
Understanding of/willingness to learn the end to end creative process — print, digital and production capabilities.
Meticulous attention to detail
A leader who is proactive, enthusiastic and willing to learn new things
Enterprise governance or PMO experience is preferred
Knowledge of digital accessibility standards is a plus
Familiarity of compliance policies and procedures is a plus
Understanding of QA testing methodologies is a plus
Knowledge of health care business is a plus

Additional Job Information:
We use WebEx and conference calls extensively, therefore very clear verbal communication is critical.
