UI Test Automation Engineer

This DC-based consulting firm is currently hiring for a Test Automation Engineer to join a small, tight-knit team of 10 people to work on a brand new project.

In this role, you will start with manual testing to see what tests can be automated and build an automation framework from scratch. Candidates should be hands-on with JavaScript and Cypress, but candidates with JavaScript and Selenium experience will also be considered. This role also requires experience working in agile and DevOps environments, having a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, and having experience with 508 compliance for user accessibility. Someone who has experience working on RPA platforms (Robotic Process Automation) is a HUGE plus.

Candidates with a DHS Public Trust will be short-listed, but they are happy to sponsor a candidate’s public trust if they are eligible to attain it. This position is 100% remote and requires you to work Eastern Standard hours.

Required Skills & Experience:

3+ years of test automation experience
Experience with JavaScript + Cypress (highly preferred) or Selenium
Experience with 508 Compliance, User Accessibility Testing
Experience working in an Agile and DevOps environment
