Moodys Northwest Consulting is seeking a Program Manager with Digital Accessibility expertise, who will be responsible for leading and coordinating our organization's efforts to ensure digital products, platforms, and services are accessible to users with disabilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, product managers, and content creators, to integrate accessibility principles throughout our entire digital ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

Accessibility Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior management to develop a comprehensive accessibility strategy that aligns with our company's values and complies with relevant accessibility guidelines and standards (e.g., WCAG, ADA, Section 508).
Accessibility Compliance: Stay up-to-date with the latest accessibility laws, regulations, and industry best practices, ensuring that our digital products and services meet or exceed these requirements.
Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of accessibility-focused projects, including website redesigns, application developments, and other digital initiatives.
Collaborative Leadership: Foster a culture of accessibility awareness within the organization by collaborating with teams across various departments, providing guidance, and advocating for accessibility integration.
Accessibility Audits and Testing: Oversee and conduct regular accessibility audits and testing of digital assets, identifying barriers to accessibility and working with teams to implement necessary improvements.
Training and Education: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on digital accessibility principles and practices, empowering them to create inclusive digital experiences.
Vendor and Partner Management: Collaborate with external vendors and partners to ensure accessibility considerations are integrated into their deliverables and products.
Monitoring and Reporting: Establish metrics and tracking mechanisms to measure the success of accessibility initiatives, generating regular reports for stakeholders and management.
User Research: Utilize feedback from users with disabilities to inform and influence the improvement of our digital products, promoting a user-centered approach to accessibility.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Accessibility Studies, or a related field.
Proven experience working as a Program Manager with a focus on digital accessibility, preferably in [industry/sector].
Thorough understanding of accessibility guidelines, standards, and principles (e.g., WCAG, ADA, Section 508) and how to apply them to digital products and services.
Familiarity with accessibility evaluation tools and testing methodologies.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
Passion for advocating digital accessibility and creating inclusive user experiences.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The salary for this position ranges from $100k/year in our lowest geographic market up to 170K/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Other forms of compensation are offered in the form of medical, vision, and dental benefits.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
