Job Description
**Job Description:** We are seeking an experienced Accessibility Testing Engineer to ensure our digital products comply with accessibility standards such as WCAG We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our eCommerce organization, who will design, build and maintain automation frameworks and test suites to ensure software quality and reliability. And experienced in Accessibility Testing with WCAG standards and provide an inclusive user experience across platforms. The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of QA experience, including at least 2 years in Accessibility testing, with a solid background in both automation and manual testing. **Key Responsibilities:** • Perform accessibility audits against WCAG 2.1 / 2.2 guidelines • Conduct both manual and automated accessibility tests (keyboard navigation, screen reader testing, focus order validation) • Validate ARIA roles, semantic HTML, and accessible form controls • Perform mobile accessibility testing (iOS VoiceOver, Android TalkBack) • Build and maintain automation frameworks, tests, and tools to boost test coverage, efficiency, and CI/CD integration. • Develop and maintain test plans and test cases and execute functional testing for each release to ensure all acceptance criteria are met while supporting consistent QA strategies and continuous improvement. • Collaborate with developers and designers to remediate defects found. • Provide detailed reports with severity levels and remediation guidance • Support accessibility compliance initiatives (ADA, Section 508) **Qualifications:** • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. • Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA standards • Hands-on experience with screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver) • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, ARIA • Knowledge of color contrast and UI accessibility principles • Strong programming skills in JavaScript (experience with Python/Java is a plus). • Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM, REST APIs, JSON). • Experience building automation frameworks from scratch using Playwright or similar tools (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, Puppeteer). • Good understanding of Page Object Model (POM), data-driven testing, and parallel execution. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
