Candidates need to be fluent in English. All positions are long-term. This position is open for freelancers and employees.Candidates need to be able at least to work 4-5 hours per day in the normal office hours of New York, US. Example 9 AM NY time equals 7:30 PM. Tasks and deliverables: • Produce high-quality work products that meet or exceed client expectations; • Effectively communicate accessibility requirements and issues in writing as well as verbally in meetings with project team, business clients and stakeholders; • Serving as a reliable source of answers for accessibility questions; • Continuously improving internal team’s digital accessibility knowledge and skills; • Effectively supporting quality accessibility deliverables to our clients; Profile: • Bachelor or University degree; 3+ years working with Angular (NOT AngularJS) web-apps, currently using Angular 12; 3+ years of experience with accessibility standards for all platforms (web, mobile, desktop) and how they apply to products and services including: Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), Accessible Rich Internet Applications (ARIA); • 2+ years of experience in assistive technologies and screen readers (preferably JAWS); Exposure to Git, GitLab workflows and CI/CD pipelines; • Exposure of Microservices architecture, Docker container implementation; • Exposure to build application services on Amazon cloud services (AWS); • Good interpersonal skills to work with developers in an agile environment; • Excellent knowledge of English (both written and verbal) is required; Offered: A challenging role for an international organization in New York; Attractive salary package; If you are interested,please send your CV to:[email protected].
