Software Quality Assurance Analyst and Tester

Position Type: Full-Time Salary Range: $75K-$110K (depending on experience) Work Location: This is a remote position. Essential Functions: - Analyze, document, troubleshoot, and test web sites and/or transactional applications. - Develop comprehensive test strategies and write test cases that will thoroughly evaluate and test functionality, regression, performance, usability and security of web applications. - Identify and document bugs or errors and provide detailed feedback to the development team. - Implement both manual and automated testing methods. - Assist with collecting and documenting system processes and business rules to ensure test cases align with business requirements. - Work closely with software developers to ensure understanding of and adherence to requirements. - Support 508 compliance testing. - Other duties as assigned or required. Required: - Experience conducting quality assurance and software testing for IT web applications required. - Experience providing requirements gathering/analysis for IT applications required. - Manual and automated testing experience required. - BS/BA degree and 3 years related experience OR AA/AS degree and 7 years related experience OR HS and 9 years related experience. Desired: - Experience testing applications built on Amazon Web Services (AWS) highly desired. - PostgreSQL or Oracle database experience preferred. - Experience with GitLab highly desired. - Experience with Playwright a plus. - Basic programming understanding is a plus. Security Clearance: - Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance. Active Secret clearance desired, interim Secret acceptable to start. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc. Education: - BS/BA degree and 3 years related experience OR AA/AS degree and 7 years related experience OR HS and 9 years related experience.
